Well, obviously it's tough to find a direct comparison.
this is true
not many SEC schools are able to hire a successful head coach away from a BCS conference. You'd have to go all the way back to LSU hiring Saban away from Michigan State to find the last SEC school to hire a successful B1G head coach
Oregeron and Stoops on the other hand were both assistants in BCS conferences before going to ole miss or kentucky respectively

Don't forget Mullen at Ms. State.
Elite company.

Success in the B1G may not mean success in the SEC. I wouldn't be so quick to tout his B1G record.

I didn't.
FSU and SC both improved once their respective assistants took head jobs at a low tier SEC schools.
Coincidence?
I think not.

You're pretty stupid too so I wouldn't expect you to understand.
Alabama absolutely wanted Wallace. He's the 2nd rated OT in the nation. Everyone expected him to go there. To allude to his offer not being a commitable one is as I said, "fricking stupid"

Did Saban also fail to match his predecessor's record at LSU while simultaneously faltering in the recruiting trail?
Hrm, sorry. Looks like Saban took a 3-8 team to 8-4, a Peach Bowl win and a final ranking of #22 in the nation.
Not really applicable here, since Bert led a 4-8 team to 3-9.

And Wisconsin improved from 7-5 to 9-3 after Bert left.
Coincidence?
I think not.

I can easily talk without calling stupid people stupid. But sometimes I choose to be honest

Not to mention that one of those Rose Bowls they went to... well, they only made it because the Buckeyes weren't eligible for post season play.
So, Ohio St. wasn't eligible for Bowl play in 2010?
News to everyone.

I didn't call anyone stupid. I was being sarcastic.
Unlike you Pig fans, I have shite to do this afternoon though, so I'm not going to continue to argue with you.

Hrm looks like Saban was working with better talent at LSU
#11 ranked 1998 recruiting class and #14 ranked 1999 recruiting class

You mean DiNardo was killing it in the recruiting rankings, but not on the field?
Blasphemy.
Blasphemy.

Arkansas '11 class (24 - 3.07) and '12 class (34 - 3.04) are both either more highly ranked ('11) or better on a per-player average ('12) than either of Bert's class.
So, to recap:
Bert is unable to coach the existing Arkansas talent at the same level as John L. Smith.
Bert is unable to recruit at Arkansas at the same level as Bobby Petrino.
Bert is unable to coach Wisconsin's talent at the same level as Gary Anderson.
Yikes, hogs. I never had the occasion to consider exactly how bad Bielema is until you started this troll thread.
I can see now why you're so desperate to deflect attention anywhere that you can. Proceed.
