Who are you again?
Not a Western Kentucky homer.
I have a degree from Kentucky, unlike you.

I guess you are referring to the avi bet I made for the UK vs Arkansas game.
Indeed.

I'm looking forward to the game against Maryland in a couple of weeks. They looked good in our scrimmage. What is Duke going to look like this year?

I beg to differ!
I feel pretty confident the women have a good shot at a banner.
Oh, I love the women's team as well.
No one's gonna beat Brittany Griner though. Our tallest post player is 6'3. She's 6'8.

Tall and pale. Just like every other year since the beginning of their program.

I got a feeling that Mitch is counting on this sentiment from the fan base, he wants us to be distracted by b-ball so he can sweep this shite(UK Football/Joker) under rug and start a UK uni-cycling team.

You need to follow the women more. TAMU beat Griner and Co with a small fast team. UK plays small and fast and Jennifer Oneill is healthy again. Fast and deep!

I could have went to UK but I liked Western better. I'm going to have my BS in Construction Management in may.

I've been following. I've been to games. I know both teams.
I would love for us to beat them, and I hope we do. If we meet them in the Championship game though, it's a long shot.

So... tell me why you like Western better?

I think we should do well on the defensive side of the ball this year but I'm just interested on seeing how we play as a team.

We play them at Waco on November 11. I think they will beat us in that game and we beat them in the tourney. TAMU did the same thing when they won the banner in Indy 2 years ago. They lost in the regular season then beat Baylor in the tourney on the way to the NC against Notre Dame.

So, if you could have attended Kentucky, why did you like Western Kentucky better?

We're not winning the National Championship this season in basketball. And by we, I mean actual Kentucky fans.
Not winning the SEC either.

I'm realistic. I never said that we would.
I wont promise shite for next season though.

I spent a couple of weeks on UK's campus for football camps. We stayed in the towers both years and practiced in the Nutter facility. The campus is really spread out and you have a lot of walking to do between buildings. The dorms were old and I didn't really like the look of campus. I didn't really like Lexington at the time either.
When I took my visit to western I found that the people were really nice, everything on campus was fairly close to each other and I liked the town. When I started my classes they were smaller and the teachers were very helpful. It turned out to be the right decision for me and I've loved it here ever since.

Realistically we don't really know yet what kind of team we have. I see us having a season like 2010 where we beat a lot of people but take our bumps in the conference.

Good luck getting a job in state without a UK or Louisville degree. Also, Bowling Green is a shithole. No wonder you don't even know how to tip. Just sayin'.

Everyone I know in my department that has graduated have went on to get jobs all over Kentucky. We have a great reputation and lots of alumni all over the world. I guess you've had a bad experience at some point while in town but for what its worth I know several people that have transferred to Western from UK's engineering department.
FWIW I went back a couple of nights later and tipped very well to make up for it. I apologized to the bartender and she said don't worry about it
