Northwestern really plays good fundamental football. I've watched them a good bit over the last two or three years, and they aren't that fun to watch, but damn, I am envious of how they run their program in some ways.
They'll get out-athleted on occasion (like that long bomb Johnson just completed), but they hardly ever beat themselves.

I'm late to the party but that is the worst ejection I've ever seen.
The player was not aggressive or angry or threatening and just mildly rejected the refs hands trying to help him up.
Ref threw the flag and ejected him because he was butthurt, that's it.
