I don't and didn't. I chose a different path in life before college. I was a military recruiter in NWA. I worked on avg 100+ hours a week, most of which was in a vehicle covering a large rural area. Not to mention my RS (command) was 5 hours north.
With nothing much in rural Arkansas besides the outdoors, it's hard not to hear about Razorback Football. Especially when I was there in 2014. Didn't pay attention too much that season because of work. Then the Petrino accident happened. That's when I really got into college football. Started following recruiting, started learning about the Razorbacks, and started chatting on message boards.
I love the Razorbacks. Great history, great sport venues, great people and a beautiful state.
I'd love to go to the U of A. However, it's more beneficial for me to do my college here in Illinois. Illinois Veterans Grant pays for my school and I bank my GI Bill that I paid into years ago.
Our first game this year is against Eastern Illinois University. I will finish my associates this summer semester, and will be a student at Eastern.
I'm 30 with a family, U of A would be a dream, but being a smart husband/father is better for my family. I'm 7 hours away, and will be at games this year (in Fayetteville).
