Except I’ve never seen Mond play quarterback at an elite level in any game, with the possible exception of the overtime periods against LSU. When a terrible Ole Miss defense has him confused and tentative, then this dude is not and never will be elite.

I'm looking forward to seeing how we handle him this year. Last season with Jimbo Fisher installing his offense we had to go in dry with no real idea of what to expect. He had some ridiculous completions that just don't happen like that in every game. Now that we have a season of film on him I looking forward to seeing how Venables attacks him.....

Wait, wait, wait. Mond in just his second game of learning a brand new and fairly complicated offense Clemson had faced yearly while Jimbo was at FSU was an advantage for A&M in that game? Really?

Having played against FSU's players allowed us to know their capabilities. Not so much with aTm. We know that Jimbo made his name off of Jameis Winston and Mond is no Jameis Winston. Decent QB but not in the same league.

I personally like Mond...very humble guy! I wish the kid much success, but not against us of course! They let Clemson escape last season...I want them to close the deal this year...the Clemson melt would be Epic!!!

That is coach speak 101...He's not going to say anything less than his QB is great. Jimbo is one of the better coach-speak bulshitters out there
