Regardless of how this ends gotta make you feel good this early for a group of 18 year olds and a new coach gave Kansas all they wanted. Especially after the total disasters of the last 3-4 years.

MPJ was trying to hard to win the game by himself.
Barnett is about what I expected - very, very good. I think he should start over Puryear.
Phillips needs to adjust to the backup role. He can be a Vinnie Johnson kinda guy off the bench.
The freshmen all showed some great upside. Tilmon is gonna be a beast. Jontay and MPJ both showed flashes. They’re much further along than I expected, TBH.
