Looking at the Shula extension, it seems to have been announced prior to the 2005 season which is odd because they were coming off a 6-6 record and he still had 5 or so years remaining anyway.

No idea. We were knee deep in sanctions and what not at that point. There's a reason we call those years the Dark Age.

It will be something if he gets an extension before winning an SEC title or playoff game.
