You HAVE to go to Jerry's Cajun Cafe on 9th. It is amazing. Jerry is from Baton Rouge. He's a great guy and he'll walk around and talk to everyone in the dining room from time to time. And there's LSU stuff everywhere on the walls and zydeco music. He usually has all of the LSU games on in the bar too.
Awesome thanks. I did not know this.

Jerry's has great Louisiana/LSU themed decor, but I wasn't impressed with the food (red beans & rice, boudin balls and cajun cole slaw).
The beer was good though.

Welcome to the area Neighbor.
Watch your speed in GB the local law calls that "The Golden Miles" for the speeding tickets they write. Especially going across the Bay Bridge.
Regarding the UFO house..it is a landmark on Pensacola Beach..One of Three built by some European in the U.S. that house has been sold 4 or 5 times since the 60's.
The UFO sightings are nothing more then secret Aircraft being tested at nearby Eglin AFB. Go up on I-10 between the 63-72mile markers after midnight. You'll see all sorts of weird lights etc from I-10. Southern Version of "Area 51" in Nevada...welcome!

Yea, I never really understood why people would believe the UFO sightings within 15 miles of the largest AFB in the US.
I used to work in Fort Walton and would drive hwy 85 a good bit to get back to Mobile. You'd see some crazy stuff at night.

Twice a week I drive Overnight to Savannah Ga on buisness. Two weeks ago coming back around 1130 PM On I-10 I Saw something about 400 yds south of I-10 with lights in a triangle shape. All of a sudden this thing spits out a pulsating laser beam to the ground with a bluish hue...then it went down again. No I don't drink..and No was I on anything "Higher" then a Sprite..UFO? More look USAF test craft That Base takes up part of 3 Counties..it is huge.

Fishing on the southside of Navarre bridge last summer something (read aircraft) flew over and went south out over the gulf and it produced some form of flood lights that for lack of a better analogy lit the area underneath it up like it was frikin noon!! The CV-22 (osprey) are cool as hell they fly just about every afternoon/night!

Correct!
My now deceased uncle was a Lt.Col pilot stationed at Eglin in FWB. The huge majority of UFO sightings everywhere are secret military craft. The military has stuff that's 50 years ahead of what the public knows about.
BTW, Fort Pickens wasn't wiped out in Ivan, but the road was. It's supposed to open again soon. Go check out Fort Barrancas on the Naval Base in the mean time.
Get a bowl of Clam Chowder at Flounders on Pensacola Beach and a Steak or Irish Meat Pie at McGuires. If you really like to eat, head on over to Lamberts in Foley,Al on Hwy 59. Go through Gulf Shores and turn right (North) on 59. Lamberts is up a few miles on the right. Can't miss it........
