Such a small minded mentality. So in your opinion if West Virginia doesn't lose to Pitt in 2007 Les Miles is not as good of a coach as he is now?

quote:

Assuming you meant "some" LSU fans, all I would say is that "some" LSU fans hate every coach regardless of what happens. They hated Saban too. You know this (most likely) and are just being intellectually dishonest (as usual) to push your agenda. It's extremely transparent and you should stick to the soccer board where most of your nonsense goes either unnoticed or unchallenged.

If you are going to try and say that the majority of the fanbase wouldn't have run Les out of town on a rail that night and accusing someone else of being intellectually dishonest then there is not much else to say.

Was that simple statement confusing? If so, maybe your reading comprehension is why you are calling me a troll and then saying the exact same thing as me in the same post.

Good grief. All that you mention is his losses.

He has won 80% of his games in the most dominant era of the SEC in football history.

Go away. You are a troll.

Yeah, caring about championships above all else is "small minded"

You're completely ignoring the fact that even after that Arkansas game, LSU still went out and WON two championships. I don't know how you are able to do such mental gymnastics but I guess I already knew what a shitty poster you were so I really shouldn't be surprised.

So now you know LSU fans better than i do?

The percentage of that game was no different than it is after any other game LSU loses. If you really wanted to play this game right you would have said Ole Miss 2009 instead of Arkansas 2007.

What are you trying to say here. Make your stance clear. Are you saying Auburn's NC is better than LSU's two NCs. What are you saying?

When evaluating a coaches performance yes.

Honestly 2007 was probably his 2nd or 3rd worst year from a job performance standpoint. That was one of the most complete teams in recent SEC history loaded with talent and experience.

1. They had already lost to Kentucky.

2. They were losing to Auburn at the time.

3. He came back in to the very game that LSU fans have retro'd themselves into thinking nearly ended the poor guys career.

In all honesty, the 2011 was more talented.(with no QB)

Like I have said several times, I hope you're right. If you are then it means that we have a really bright future once we get a good coach

That's your opinion, but I followed that team a hell of a lot closer than you did though. And my more educated opinion is that you're completely full of shite.

That's a pretty big hole, though. The 2007 team was complete. Both teams were stacked though, you're right about that.
