Mizzou had 3 division titles in the Big 12 North in 15 years... They have 2 division titles in the SEC East in 12 years.

well he's incorrect

Missouri's first season they were handed a loss by UGA on their homefield in their first conference game. They did win the east the following year when they legit had a solid team, but then were whipped in the SECCG

Let's restate the question:

Is any SEC member pulling for Texas to win the conference in their 1st year?

That's what you are implicitly asking. And of course, no. Why would anyone want to see a newbie dance right in and win it all.

I would have had zero issues or complaints whatsoever if OU won the conference this year. Y'all are as thick headed as bama fans in thinking that the universe solely revolves around you.

People don't want to see texas win the league because you've played a laughingstock of a schedule and lost to the only team worth a shite you've played, NOT because "oh texas is so frightening we can't let them win it their first year"

Not a problem and expected. Most power bottoms are pulling for Texas.

Ewers will never win anything and arch isn’t the answer.

Ewers has not been the same since his injury. I would be surprised if he could lead Texas to an SEC title playing like this, much less a deep run in the playoffs. Maybe his issues will improve? I don't know.

It is surprising you are taking a shot at Arch. While nothing is a guarantee, there is every reason to believe he will be really good as a starter.

I would guess that Georgia, Ole Miss & Tennessee are all pulling for Texas to beat Kentucky, Texas A&M and Alabama in the SEC CCG.

12-1 Texas

10-2 Georgia
10-2 Ole Miss
10-2 Tennessee

10-3 Alabama *
9-3 Texas A&M

* Alabama would only be in the CCG because of tiebreakers. They would have the same record as Georgia, Ole Miss and Tennessee at 10-2. I could see the committee looking at all 4 teams as about the same.. but with the extra loss, Alabama falls back into a different group.

If Texas loses that CCG, you have Alabama + 4 teams vying for 3 spots..

If Texas loses to A&M, it gets even more cloudy.

We don't fit in. We aren't toothless rubes. But aggy is.
I get the love for them.

And Texas losing to both Kentucky and A&M would really clear things up…
