This thread was a response to the numerous threads about Alabama made by Auburn folks this morning, calling out the football team. It was basically a statement saying, yall got shite to talk about this year.

THEN, a Lsu fan piped in with a comment, which has no merit or base, based on THIS CURRENT time, seeing as how your team lost also. In response to this, you have decided to "start living in the past". Which many Lsu fans accuse Bama folks of doing.

I never flamed much, always gave props to Lsu for beating us up until we won this year. This will be evidenced by a search of my posts prior to the win this past November. Now, whenever a retard decides to talk smack about our team, I will respond in kind to the same way your fans have the last several years. Why? Because we won and yall sucked this year.

So what is the current time? In football spring practice is just starting so last year is meaningless. I have admitted that we did not have a good season last year and Alabama had good season, but that season is gone. What does Alabama have to show for it. What hardware? An SEC West crown. So if you want to live in CURRENT TIME then lets talk about spring practice and baseball and stop trying to provoke other fans by recalling THE PAST.

So what is your offensive line situation looking like? We look to be strong at that postion with Ciron Black coming back. Our wideouts might be the best group in the SEC. Hearing talk of useing Russell Shepard as a percy harven type guy with the option to throw. Defense is gonna be great. Lots of young talent coming back with patrick peterson and chad jones. d-line will be young but alot of promise. What about yall?

Returning 9 of 11 on defense. Will have to replace an all american at safety, but we've some depth so won't hurt as much. Should hopefully be a top 5 defense again this year.

Replacing one of our TE with an experienced transfer from Ga Tech. Having to replace LT and C and another TE which will give us biggest headache. Should be fine at RB. If we can fill those two voids, I look for a 10 win season, if we struggle 8 wins.

I think top 3 in the conference in defense will be in no particular order:

Bama
Florida
Tennesse

after that pick and choose

Ole Miss
Auburn
Lsu

Basically our whole D is coming back (which was on the top 5 in the nation all last season), our O-Line has some questions that will hopefully be answered. New QB, could be good, could be bad. We have one of the, if not the, Best WR in the nation, and we are going to have very solid RB play. Our PR is one of the, if not the, best in the nation. Also, we have some beastly freshman and sophmores that are going to see the field next year. Should be exciting.

Sorry, I didnt see the other response. And as far as comparing LSU's Qb situation last year to ours this year: both of our competing QBs are better than Jarret Lee and Andrew Hatch.
