Are Georgia fans concerned over the small sample size they have seen of JT against weaker SEC teams and a good goup of five team?

I think they are very confident - and I think rightfully so

I think he is going to be real good. I think the only things that could hold him back are Kirby and the injury to Pickens.

Remember last preseason when they had a first round QB who was gonna win them a title? Or the year before that?
Good times.
Good times.

Concerned? No
Cautious? Yes
I think he'll be the best QB that UGA has fielded since Aaron Murray, but I'm not ready to crown him in the same league as a Burrow, a Mac Jones, or even a SR Kyle Trask. He's got some things to prove to get to that level.

Only a little bit.
It would be one thing if he were hitting wide open receivers in these games, but he was squeezing the ball into tight windows and making ridiculously good throws regardless of who the defense is.

Why, are you concerned about Will Roger's sample size?

You decided to show the highlights from the one game where Georgia played against 45 scholarship players. Like I said in the original post he's only played against weak competition.

If Kirby and Monken open up the offense for him then he'll be deadly.
But they won't Kirby has an infatuation to make all 4 of his RBs happy.
Burrow
Mac
Each had 1 RB that made plays the rest was on the QB to do.
Kirby will have Cook, White, Kendall and someone else and he'll try to give them all touches. Not saying it's a bad thing but it should be more QB driven than "I gotta give my RBs carries each game"
Let JT sling it for 5k yds and ride with White and a complete spread fast pace offense anf everyone will be shocked at how good UGA is offensively.

Yes I am.
Don't blame you. However, I would save some of that concern for your running game as well.

LOL what running game... We have decent backs what I believe separates the contenders from the pretenders is O-Line play. Doesn't matter how good your back is if they dont have blocking

And here we are again. Congrats, you’ve outed yourself as an idiot.
A. I showed highlights from 3 different games
B. According to the official statistics book from Mississippi St, ZERO non-scholarship players played in that game outside of special teams. In the secondary, you had 3/5 starters and the two backups that started played in every game. Sorry those facts don’t help your narrative.
C. You completely ignored the point of my post. These are excellent throws regardless of who he played. It’s not like he was hitting guys wide open on crossing routes here.

I think Monken seems to be transitioning UGA's more traditional 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense to a more modern pass oriented scheme. Case in point, here are the percentages of total yards gained by passing for UGA since Kirby Smart took over:
2016 - 50.3%
2017 - 40.6%
2018 - 48.6%
2019 - 54.6%
2020 - 58.9%
So, just off the bat it's plainly evident that Monken threw the ball more in 2020 than any of Kirby's previous years OCs. But it's even more evident if you look at only the games with JT Daniels at the helm. As you can see below, once a better overall QB took over the percentage of passing yards increased even more. I think one can reasonably expect this trend to continue because of two major factors. First, this will be Monken's first full offseason to work with the team. Remember he came on board and was immediately handicapped by the cancellation of spring practice and summer workouts due to COVID restrictions. Second, he actually has a settled QB1 this season rather than the three guys he had to work through before JT was ready to play.
2020 w/ JT Daniels - 63.9%
2020 w/ Other QBs - 54.7%
For context:
2020 Clemson - 69.4%
2020 Alabama - 66.1%
2020 Oklahoma - 63.7%
2020 Notre Dame - 52.9%
2020 Ohio State - 50.5%
2018 Tampa Bay - 77.1%
2017 Tampa Bay - 75.1%
2016 Tampa Bay - 70.1%

Hey dummy if you look at the post I replied to it was Exhibit A. Exhibit A only contains reels of the MSU VS Georgia game. But go on tell everyone how someone else is stupid
