Explain to me the difference or “concept” that would allow one to be one of the best college lineman of all time and not even be able to hang around in the nfl

Explain to me why you think NFL success has anything to do with college success. You self-creating a caveat based on position doesn’t give it merit. But since you think it matters, I’ll give you a few non-QBs

Courtney Brown - set NCAA sack record at Penn St, #1 overall pick, bust. Still great college player

Kenneth Sims - 2x AA, Lombardi award winner, #1 overall pick, career, 17 career sacks over 8 seasons

Trev Alberts - consensus AA, Butkus award winner, 5th overall pick, 3 year NFL career

Tony Mandarich - one of the most hyped OL prospects ever. 2x Big 10 OL of the year and AA, #2 overall pick, 3 year NFL career

Andre Wadsworth - absolute monster for FSU in the 90s, 3x All-ACC, AA, ACC player of the year, 3rd overall pick, freak show combine, lasted 3 years in the NFL.

Steve Emtman - won Outland and Lombardi, finished 4th in Heisman voting, #1 overall pick, out of the NFL at 27

Brian Bosworth - one of the most decorated college players of all time. Only player to win Butkus award twice. #1 overall pick. Complete bust of a 3 year NFL career

All these were college HOF level players. That doesn’t become void because they didn’t turn out to be great professional players. Same for Barrett Jones. His college accomplishments speak for themselves. The dude won the Outland trophy and was an AA at left tackle (after moving there due to injury) in 2011. He then switched to center in 2012 and won the Rimington. He was a consensus AA in 2012 and unanimous AA in 2011. Yes, that’s an all-time college career

He's actually saying that Alabama's recruiting classes might be underrated. At the end of the video he points out that 48.8% of Alabama's five stars get drafted into the first round. The rate is under 19% for the rest of college football. So if you are a five star at Alabama, you are more than twice as likely as to be drafted into the first round as you are anywhere else.

Add to that, 1/3 (6) of the top rated 18 NFL rookies are Alabama players, and that gives undisputed evidence that Alabama is the place for an elite high school player to go to school.
It ain't rocket science...it's FACTS!
