That's not a good position to be in but at least Collins is a beast. Hopefully, you can get some production out of the others. You've got the oline to give even a mediocre back a chance at a very good to great season in terms of production.
I feel your pain in terms of depth. I feel like our 1s are as good as anybody but our 2s and 3s are shakier. Injuries scare the hell out of me.

Potentially, I guess he could receive a medical hardship and play next year, but I doubt he does that.
He still has a regular redshirt year available.
Strangely, if he were to miss the year, we could have the possibility of having JWill, AC3 and Walker all back next year. It's not going to happen but it would be possible.

auburn fans ladies and gentlemen
I hate to see anybody injured, and making light of others misfortunes is never cool. I didn't see the comment when he made it, but from what I can see leftover that others quoted, it doesn't seem like he was making a joke directly at Williams' expense. Seems like the point of the comment was to point out how Arkansas fans spent a good portion of 2014 making similar comments towards AU fans about the HUNH, so don't go pointing fingers like all your Razorbacks are innocent. Now that comment definitely deserves a stern warning PM and a whack, but after the copious amounts of posts from Arkansas fans directed towards Auburn fans last year that basically said the same thing, a ban over that comment is weak sauce IMO.
(If there was something worse I didn't see then I apologize)
Same with wartiger2004 getting banned yesterday. Seems like a a first offense of starting a dumb response thread used to just get whacked and a warning PM.
Chicken wasn't bluffing when he said the admins were cracking down...

An Auburn fan claiming to be the victim?
I am shocked, absolutely shocked.

Please point me to where an Arkansas fan trolled about an injured Auburn player using the "HUNH causes injuries" line.
TIA. I'm sure I'll be waiting for a while

what's going on with all these pre-season injuries? seems you hear about more of them last few years.

I think coaches have amped up the practices to get their teams conditioned better for the season. Part of that is going hard in scrimmages and ultimately opens the players up for more injuries.
Just basing that off interviews and things coaches have said what they are doing differently from past camps. Just throwing darts here, and just a guess on my part.

I actually never said that. And we both know that those kinds of posts normally get whacked so I'm sure that's what you were banking on so Arkansas fans can continue to play the victim. But since you asked it seems one slipped through the cracks, so here you go...

Please explain to me how auzach's post was any worse than that.

I'm sure the way that sports/training are 24/7 365 today plays a factor as well, directly or indirectly.
Directly by body fatigue, meaning no long recovery times or what use to be known as the off-season.
Indirectly (in regards to injury) is the athlete being bigger, faster, stronger. The direct wanted result is to perform at a higher level in the sport, the indirect result is the forces being exerted on the body from oneself or by others in the case of football, physics and stuff.

I was thinking the same. Our DL is beating the hell out of our OL -- a lot of them have been held out with minor injuries (a scary amount since we're trying to find our best 5). And while I know that going up against our DL can help make them better, and is making them better, I'm almost to the point of saying 'damn Coach, call off the dogs.' At the same time, our OL needs as much practice against an elite DL as they can get.
I love the preseason and the practice reports (I try to keep up with as many teams as I can) we get until someone gets hurt.

Yea, I'd forgotten about his redshirt year. His injury doesn't sound that bad and I bet he plays as soon as it's healed, though.
Thanks for the news presidenthog!
The criticism and reactions found in this thread have been disappointing and distasteful from several posters. Hating Arkansas is fine, but trolling any injured player should be off-limits, especially when they're an outstanding person like Jwill. I don't know if the trolling comments still exist, or if they were removed, but they did exist when this thread first started and it wasn't just Auburn posters, either.

Very good points you made. There really isn't an off-season anymore, and these athletes are so much stronger and strung tight with muscle.

Don't worry buddy, I'm not going to get all salty and butt hurt and RA you.
Funny how some fan bases tend to take on the personalities of their coach, huh?
When things don't go your way:
1. Cry and whine about it
2. Demand somebody in charge fix it for you
3. Play the victim to anybody who will listen
4. Deny, deflect, and point out minute differences when you're shown to be a hypocrite
Sounds like a certain heavy-set feller I know of...

Hey now... Phil Fullmer has been gone awhile - and what does TN have to do with this?

It's sad how you'll troll a thread until everyone leaves and you're all by yourself.
