By "grinded" the OP meant resting comfortably on the bench by the third quarter.

I agree you guys probably win. We still had 3 timeout but still, it would have been tough.
If I put together a list of the 3 most important plays in the entire season, number 1 would be the 3rd and forever from the 2 with about 7 min left in the game. We punt and that game is definitely over.
Ironically I think that win energized A&M (as opposed to Bama coming out flat the next week after they beat LSU). We had a dog fight with La Tech the next week.
More than anything that game exercised some demons from last year and gave us a lot of confidence going forward. So yes, I think we probably drop another game or two.
The offense came alive from that 3rd down pass to Evans and seemed to click after that. In my opinion this was the turning point for our entire season.

I agree with that too it just seemed that after that game y'all kinda had a cockiness about you that you knew you could win.
