If he gets rehired for a 3 year gig - what exactly would the fallout in Arky look like?

I would literally eat my own shite and post the video if that happened.

I'm drawing a blank on where he was supposed to be the HC before resigning & taking the hawg's job, but can you imagine how happy they are now that he did leave??

Weber State. Yeah someone posted during the ULM meltdown that they were the big winner in all of this. What a mess.

John L. Smith is the Joe Biden of college football.

He's certainly no Mike Sherman...oh wait, didn't he blow a 3 touchdown 2nd half lead?

He has the coaching ability of Mike Sherman; but at least he says stupid shite like Joe Biden and Lee Corso.

I would go full Aggie ghey to get Sherman to take this mess over for the rest of this season. He had some motivation issues or something, but he knows football IMO.

He now has the appropriate job for his skill set.

i've been against firing him simply because we suck but i'm wavering- can we at least move him into another position, one that doesn't require speaking?

I always respected him off of the field, seemed like a genuine man. I think Sumlin walked into a really well set program in the sense that nothing was in the shitter in terms of recruiting or some other off the field issues. Our new coach on the other hand might as well be waking into Hiroshima on August 7, 1945.

That picture sums this up well. A fricking clown-led nuclear fallout.

Honestly, the guy is going to be very poor the rest of his life. No way he gets another head coaching gig after this disaster and all of his press conference goofs and he is millions in debt.

It must be painful as hell for the person that has to sign John L.'s checks.

That sucks, and I feel for him as a person. This has been a rough time on him. The thing is that his troubles seem to be seeping into our football season and it's time to part ways like men. I would happily place him back at some job in the Athletic Dept. that does not allow public appearances of any kind. There he can make money and then live things out peacefully. BTW, he has 1.2 million in retirement funds that are not touchable by the creditors.

I know, right? We are paying $85,000 per month for this abortion.

The link in the OP was tremendous. This man is absolutely crazy. I can not believe the university has not put a gag order on him to keep him away from microphones.
