Some said that he would be the 2md best QB in the SEC this year.
Well, after 3 weeks where would you put him? I myself, have been pretty happy with him. I know he has not lit it up (5 Tds), but he hasn't given the ball away either (0 picks). He has been managing the game and it looks like the coaches want us to be a run 1st team.
The main negative IMO, is that his down field accuracy has been lacking.
I'd put him at 4th right now. Hate away!!!

He's probably pretty good but Pouncey is kinda causing him too many problems.

I'm a fan, no INT's + 3 and 0 as a starter.
off topic but how are the receivers doing at creating separation and getting open for him so far?

Down field accuracy has been a problem, and he also has made quite a few mistakes with the read option, i.e. giving it to the wrong man. Overall, though, I'm happy with him. He's taking longer to develop than I'd anticipated, which is really more an indication of my expecting too much than it is his actual talent or ability. He is progressing and that is evident. That's all you can ask.
I don't think he's the 2nd best QB in the league, though. Top 5 probably right now. At the end of the season he could be top 3.

i'd rank him right behind Murray.

Good move imo, but Florida needs to use Demps more. Of course, I haven't watched Florida that much but when I did they weren't playing him.

Wow no ints so surprising given the top ranked defenses he played against. They did beat Miami after all!!!!!!!!!!!
Of Ohio that is. Honestly don't have an opinion until he has played LSU or Bama......

I'll tell you after next week.
Roll Tide, Gators
I think you are going to get crushed by Bama.

No offense, but I can tell you haven't seen too much of us.
We are using Demps too much. The coaches have even attested to this fact and have said they are going to try to get the other backs more touches.
Demps is very explosive, but he is no Ingram or Lattimore type player that can carry the team. He needs just enough carries because it's a matter of time before he houses it for long yardage, but at the same time if he carries too much he gets tired and loses his homerun threat ability by being able to outrun everyone on the field.

Shows how much I've been paying attention

I just remember seeig Demps running like a madman and thinking man I wish LSU had a RB we used like that.

He is at least better than Newton, Relf, Masoli, Simms, Jefferson. I'd put him no worse than 5th with Garcia, Murray, McElroy, Mallet all being ahead.

Murray? He is very talented and UF wanted him to be a Gator but he has one less TD pass than Brantley and 2 interceptions as well, so no I would not put him at 5th.
1. Mallet
2. GMac
3. Garcia
4. Brantley

Not saying I do or don't agree with putting Muarry above Brantley, but Muarry has faced much better teams so far than what Brantley has.

I'd say he's doing great since he has some of the worst WRs in the league and a center that can barely snap the ball, along with almost nothing at TE.
5 TD
0 INT
We'll see how he does in 2 weeks.

Heard ESPN say that CUM would prefer Randall Cobb over Brantley at this point.
