But he doesn’t. He’s turned the ball over 6 times in 8 games

Burrow is the second best QB LSU has had this decade. That's the real sad part.

He's probably the best because Mett had OBJ, Jarvis Landry and Jeremy Hill.

So terrible. Bama should win very easily against such a bad qb and second rate coaching staff.

He is a game manager which is not a bad thing for teams that rely on the running game and defense to win. If you can't have a Heisman contender or future nfl qb, then having one who protects the ball is the next best thing. He draws teams off sides for first downs, and most importantly, forces team to beat LSU because LSU will not beat themselves with Joe in charge. He also has this uncanny ability to make defenses forget he can run, and then runs for critical first downs. The kid is savvy and I can see why he was so popular at tOSU.

At the same time you can also see why he wasn't starting.

Anthony Jennings wasn’t good in clutch moments...except with State.

I assume it is because tOSU has a better qb. Same reason Hurts isn't a starter. I like Joe. I like players who don't have all of the abilities but make the most of what they got.

Way better than I expected to be honest.

LSU hasn't had their bye yet. He's 74th in passing yards per game.

"Burrow doesn't make mistakes"

Didn't LSU's lone loss come because Burrow threw a terrible INT?

He’s got the chest baw, who was the last LSU QB who had that?

I'd take plenty of other QBs who have worse records. You wouldn't?

He’s a very good LSU QB, though.

0 knows how to evaluate talent.
