The bottom line is Joe is good enough to get drafted in the first round and Aj was not.

I watched a good bit of their game Saturday. The State D line was giving LSU’s O line all it wanted, but Burrrow still carved them up for 327 yds and 4 TDs. Kid is good.

I stand my previous comment that Joe struggles under center and thrives in the shotgun. If he is to be a nfl qb, then a team that is drafting him must design the offense around his strengths and consider his weaknesses. He will be not be able to beat out other nfl qb's if they want him to play under center a lot. It will be like Ohio State in this case.

Just so you don't think these numbers are FOS...

He was on The Ohio State University team that won a Big Ten Championship in 2017 when it defeated Wisconsin 27-21.

edit: Come on, dumbass. Just upvote because you were owned by two LSU fans.

And your point was taken. My point is that A.J.'s stats compare much more favorably than I thought they would when you consider the style of offenses. A.J. playing in one similar to the one Joe played in last year. The most surprising thing to me was AJ's career completion percentage being slightly higher's than Joe's. Starting, not starting, how many years they played, matter not. That is simply completed passes vs imcompletions. I stand my previous comment that Joe struggles under center and thrives in the shotgun. Just a little tiring when some come on here and spew things without knowing facts aside from what they’ve seen on 90 second highlight reels that they’ve watched.

I’m all for it most days. Just not today.

Coker was only in the lineup because Saban had absolutely no bullets left in the chamber. Burrow is the number one weapon of destruction for LSU and most of America for this CFB season. Coker was surrounded by all world defensive players and an unstoppable run game. Burrow doesn’t really have either of those things around him. Maybe now a decent run game. No comparison
