Pulling off the upset would be less shocking than Appalachian state beating Michigan and Texas A&M

It’s a joke that they are in the playoffs. They need their own playoffs. Make the crappy bowl games part of their playoffs.

@ Oregon is a game no G5 is pulling an upset in. Oregon has one of the largest teams on the defensive side of the ball and a huge OL, its just too physically punishing for a scrappy underdog to hang around 4 quarters. Throw in none of the JMU kids have played in a road environment like that.

We already saw what happened the last time Tulane played Ole Miss.

They deserve to be in as they won their conferences.

Both of those teams players are used to winning.

JMU has been on a nice run. They were good in FCS and have been good since they joined FBS. Not sure the run is going to be sustainable now though, their AD retired and the new one hired Billy. I dont think Franklin being at V Tech will help matters, Franklin owns the Virginia recruiting grounds

Funny, I told my wife JMU is taking advantage of UVA who though they had a good season and VT being way down.

UVA has a lot of NIL money now. Pre-season they were in a recruiting battle with Nebraska for a ND OL transfer where the bidding got to over $1m

With how down the ACC is, I could see UVA having some decent seasons. Franklin getting the Tech job makes that a lot harder though
