I think it goes a little beyond coaching with Jefferson. He just doesn't seem to have any fire or leadership qualities. You don't have to be a great talent to be a good QB. Jefferson honestly just seems to bring the whole mood of the offense down sometimes. I just don't see any confidence in him from your other players on offense.

Lets see gmac run the option and run crowton called plays while jj hands off to the heisman winner behind the best offensive line in america (watch how much time he gets to throw with no pressure) while never having a drive killed by a holding call.

Size? Can see the field easier. Supports a larger frame that can take a heavier beating.
Faster? He is. The benefits to this are obvious.
Better arm? Get some coaching to pair up with that talent and you're looking at Jacory Harris
Jefferson is suffering from a lack of confidence IMO combined with a lack of coaching. I think they go hand in hand though.
