Jimbo stood up there and insulted our intelligence saying all those kids chose aTm because they love the school

He says in one sentence that “other schools have had NIL deals under the table for years” and then in the next sentence says that aTm doesn’t do all that but had the number 1 class? Yeah right what a clown.

Why not just say “yeah, we have a great NIL network and appreciate our donors supporting our players” and be done with it. Having a temper tantrum and claiming you don’t pay kids puts him lower than Dabo.

Head coaches are basically just politicians these days. They can look straight into a camera and lie their arse off.

It's all about the dollar bills.

I dunno, that's a bold statement considering Dabo's clown level...

Not to defend his temper tantrum, but he couldn't say that because he'd be admitting to violating Texas law.

quote:

A student athlete participating in an intercollegiate athletic program at an institution to which this section applies:

2. may not enter into a contract for the use of the student athlete’s name, image, or likeness if:
(B) the compensation for the use of the student athlete’s name, image, or likeness is provided:
1. in exchange for athletic performance or attendance at the institution;
2. by the institution;
3. in exchange for property owned by the institution or for providing an endorsement while using intellectual property or other property owned by the institution; or
4. in exchange for an endorsement of alcohol, tobacco products, e-cigarettes or any other type of nicotine delivery device, anabolic steroids, sports betting, casino gambling, a firearm the student athlete cannot legally purchase, or a sexually oriented business;

He didn't need to say anything. He could have just responded saying he wasn't going to comment on the allegation his program spent $30M on the class and moved on

Hey maybe if you get a $60 million signing class you’ll be able to beat him!
