That same SDS story eluded to the fact that lsu officials came go the realization that with Miles'and Fisher's buyouts it would be a financial toll of over 20 million dollars just to make the change 0lus Fisher wants "Saban" money. At at public university that depends on state funds in a state where public education funds are being slashed; LSU couldn't afford to make the change from the educational standpount. Even though boosters were willing to Annie up the money, it would have been tough for the university to ask the state of Louisiana for funds when they paid a coach 15 million to not coach and another university between 5 and 6 million so their coach didn't have to coach there anymore.

Anybody thay knows...Did Alleva or Skip put LSU in this position?

Anyone that keeps claiming this happened because we are poor just isn't paying attention. The money was there, available and privately funded. The Prez wussed out because it would make us look dumb as we need money for academics. And, I personally think the President insulted the entire public when he stated that majority of the time the public doesn't realize this would be privately funded. That's just stupid. And yes, Jimbo WAS on board and all of you are fooling yourselves if you think otherwise. I personally don't think that door is closed yet. Bama should snag Dabo and we should snag Fisher down the line....and the rest of the SEC will be Fukkkked

LSU fans still refuse to believe it didn't happen, and everyone else laughing at them.

I'm currently banned from the "Jimbo Fisher Memorial Coaching Changes Board" for posting a couple reality-based threads on this subject when the Jim-boner was in full swing, and responding to LSU posters who were flamers. In both senses of the word.

in all likelyhood we would want him fired too after three years.

Hell, LSU fans wanted to fire Nick Saban after he lost to Texas in his third year.

LSU should have let Lester go to Michigan when he had the chance.they could have gotten Jombo at a bargain basement price back then. Now it seems as though it gonna cost them out the arse to pull that one off. It truly would have sucked to spend close to 30 million dollars this year to make that change and still get arse raped by Saban and freeze again next year tho.

Would never support Fisher after the way he made excuses for that thug Winston making him more important than the program. Would much rather Dabo. Jimbo is trash.

I understand your high moral ground, but you do know that one of your players assaulted and stole debit cards from other students while at Bama, right? All of our colleges cater to great players and sweep incidents under the rug, don't think that Saban is any different.
