The difference is that he went 15-0, won the SEC, and won a national title at LSU a year before getting that extension.
Jimbo went 14-0, won the ACC, then won a national title, then tanked Florida State and was paid by A&M for winning a title at an entirely other school five or so years later.

Yeah, I know I'm not stupid. Your school has to shite out 60 million while we go to the money tree to get ours. Blah, blah, blah, 15 and 0. You have the 60 million dollar man and I found that funny because I thought you'd be in the game we are going to see next week. But you're not there for some reason. Ha ha, funny!

Gus was making 7.5 as well at the Barn and 5 before that upgrade to 7.5 for beating UGA and Bama. 7.5 isn't a tall hill. It's the 10 year window more than anything.

Mostly it means you either live in Louisiana or have ties to Louisiana in some way. There is a pathology associated with it. It's the "we hate the big state to the west" syndrome. And they don't like cheerleaders dressed in white who happen to be all men.
