Put JH at LSU, Bama, UGA, Ole Miss, AU, or UF and he wins multiple championships.

Put Saban at San Fransisco in '11-'12 instead of Miami '05-'06 and he wins w/ as much ease as Harbaugh.

See, it works both ways. Can't use hypotheticals. Saban's management and talent @ Miami was completely different than Harbaugh's at the 49rs.
Just like Saban's Adminstration and talent @ Bama was different than Harbaugh's in college.

If you're going to use that argument. You can't have it both ways.

Homeboy thinks building a national power is just as difficult at Stanford as it is at Alabama, I really don't know what to say to that.

Saban has had much more success in his mid - late years.

Harbaugh was just starting his middle years if compared to Saban.

Its not so black and white.

Harbaugh was actually more successful if you compare their beginnings IMO. Being able to turn Stanford around is nothing short of remarkable.

You joking?

Drew Brees. Shoulder. Daunte Salt and Pepper. Ring a bell?

Alex Smith was considered a bust before Harbaugh got to San Fran. He was playing at a pro-bowl level before Harbaugh's 2nd round draft pick unseated him and has them playing in the Super Bowl.

And somehow taking your team to a Super Bowl =/= being a good college coach. Oh and JH had to "run" from CFB to the NFL

And none of them could have gotten into Stanford most likely.

Holy crap who cares? It's like people are dick riding Harbough's success because they don't like Nick Saban. Some coaches can do both pro and college, some can only do one of the other. Two different games, where in college you're going up against a multitude of different offenses week in week out and pros most of the time you're going to see a drop back QB. In the pros the game is a lot faster and everyone is good. In college you have to recruit and develop those players to be good. In pros if you're front office isn't worth a shot you're screwed. In college you're HC better be good or he can be fired after one year. (Ellis Johnson)

So what? Saban didn't do so hot in Miami. When was the last time Miami was worth a shite?

Jim Harbaugh wins in both college and NFL, Saban only college. Saban is a great coach, but Harbaugh given time will be his daddy.

They're actuallynot 2 different games. They're basically identical besides a couple rules.

Just sayin.
