Correct and it isn't up for debate. Pruitt seems to be able to stop Gus much easier than Kirby could. Kirby's D against Auburn when he was at Alabama looked like a Chinese fire drill. Pruitt is much more organized.

Pruitt has faced some really shitty AU offenses.

AU needs to stick with running the O at tempo like they did against Arky, aTm, and UGA. Wear out the Bama MASH unit.

Tempo is the main thing that killed AU against LSU (trying to sit on the lead) and Gus got away from running tempo the last couple of years, of course he had JJ and SW at QB.

Those numbers don't really mean shite, honestly.

Auburn had horrible QBs in 15-16. Ran a different offense and had a different OC all of those years as well.

We're much more balanced and have a much more efficient QB throwing the ball now. We'll find a way to get the score into the high 20s or 30s. The question is, can Bama do the same on Auburn's defense?

Gus is at his best when he has a power run game from spread techniques. A lot of spread philosophies employ quick line quick backs (chip Kelly). Gus can't play that game. He needs a decent run threat at QB with a power back. He has that this year.

If Alabama can put a decent LB in the middle, it should be an epic IB. If not, Jalen better be ready to convert on 3rd down or it could get out of hand. Or it could be a 2014 type game.

The run threat is great and all, but not nearly as important to this version of our offense. We're able to use quick hit/"now" passes and RPOs to offset not having a major run threat at QB.
