LSU running back commitment Jeremy Hill was arrested Wednesday on charges of oral sexual battery, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.

Hill, who has committed to play football at LSU, is accused along with 18-year-old Avery Tate of pressuring a 14-year old girl to perform oral sex in the locker room of Redemptorist High School, where Hill is currently a senior.

Sgt. Don Kelly, BRPD spokesman, said Hill could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted.

Pressured = forced when a14 year old is involved in reasonable people's perceptions. I am truly amazed at how many folks are taking the stance that the act was ok. It's reprehensible.

WDE, agreed. I was just answering the point someone brought up earlier about running out the clock. If this is a case that the prosecution doesnt wanna proceed with, a speedy trial declaration is a good way to make it go away. The prosecution could tell the family "we didn't drop the charges, but we weren't ready for trial" It's a way for the state to dump a case they don't wanna touch while at the same time blaming it on the tricky defense atty's or the system.

Nothing in this post is even close to "reasonable."

You believe he forced her because of where he went to highschool??? but the same standard doesn't apply to the kid who went to LSU...

You're a moron.

I say he forced her by pressuring a damn 14 year old into it. If you truly believe that it's ok for an 18 yo to pressure a 14 yo into any type of sexual act, then there's really nothing else to say, except I'm glad I don't know you.

Not even close.

It's the exact thing that will happen thousands of times in hundreds of high schools across the US during football season this year. I'm having a hard time understanding how you think this is shocking.

Like I said before.... Freshman girls have been sucking off Senior football players since football was invented.... and it very well may have been invented for that reason. They're highschool kids.

he just is out of his element since he doesn't know what type of school redemptrist is

Parents are really pushing this issue which is to be expected. They are so many rumors concerning the circumstances surrounding this incident that it is hard to decipher them. It really does not matter, she was 14 and he was 18 and the parents appear ready to go the distance. I think this kid is in a sh*tload of trouble, this is a tough defense gig imo. Why is anybody surprised that Saban would take this kid? If he needs help at a position and the player is eligible he doesn't care what you think. Saban has always been like this and I don't think 98% of his fan base could care less. Hell, Lacy is the back up running back there and the stories of his morally inept exploits reached legendary status here while he was in high school. I'm not saying this is right or wrong just how I think it is having had Saban here for awhile.

Yeah well, each and every time they are caught and charges are pressed they should have to answer for it. You can make escuses for it, but that does not make it legal or moral.
