Actually, if Brent's high school coach had taken him to Alabama, Brent would not have had to ask someone else to take him. Since his high school coach is a graduate of Auburn and is AU-in, he refused to take him on a visit to Bama.
This high school coach needs to be run out of the state. He pushed Brent to sign with Auburn and kept track of who he texted and talked to. This coach would not even fax Brent's LOI in. That, in my opinion, is an extremely sorry thing to do.

He said that it was already faxed in when Brent got to school.

I'm just curious (and if I were goodwin I wouldn't have said anything) but what part of the article makes it clear that goodwin pushed Calloway to Auburn?.... per the article, his coach set up a face-to-face with Pruit and made sure he notified the UA coaches before his switch.

You guys wanted a source and JLee gave you two... Still do not believe anything will come of this, but you never know... Does JLee have more, time will tell....

I would agree with you. If everything in the article is true, as shady as it may be, I don't see any violations. Parents can urge their kids to go to whatever school they see as the best for their kid. Unless Jeff Lee has proof of some type of money exchanging hands, then this story is dead.

not that this is against any rules or whatever, but does it not bother some alabama fans that a 50 y.o. unrelated man is taking an 18 y.o. on multiple trips to tuscaloosa and a trip to the beach?.... if nothing else it's just plain creepy.
Nothing will come of this, but it definitely paints a strange picture of recruiting in this state.
