He had his mind made up literally the day before the final weekend, and even told his coach that his Peaches wouldn't let him go to Auburn because "it would mess everything up." Along with the ultra-secret getaway vacation, it doesn't strike you as a bit odd? Seems to me like Peaches already agreed to a deal and knew Calloway had to go to Bama in order to cash in.

It seemed like it was, but then I think someone at AU wised up and put the brakes on that one.

So, with your join date as November, 2010, are you one of the people who thought Cam chose Auburn or that his dad made him go?

according to Jeffrey Lee...
...according to John Stancil...
...according to Doug Goodwin...
...according to Brent Calloway alone in Texas surrounded by Auburn recruits and an Auburn fan as a head football coach who wouldn't make the time to take him to a football game in Tuscaloosa

he owns the website so that is doubtful. Although, I would laugh very hard if he loses his Rivals affiliation over this. His website wouldn't be worth a cup of coffee if that happened.

Just a reminder...just because someone claims it was said, where's the proof these statements or quotes were ever made?

Convenient that an Auburn writer, who is under the gun to back up his previous claims is making these statements.

Again, where is the proof? Anybody can say anything...

"it would mess everything up."

is this anything like "the money is too much"?

we can make up sentences this would fit in just like EVERY single auburn fan did.

"the money is too much for cecil to drive to MSU every other weekend"

"it would mess everything up b/c peaches already has a good tailgating spot next to the stadium"

I wonder how Jeffy figured this was gonna go? Did he think Bama was gonna admit that he is right?

True, but at least J Lee named his source so the source can be questioned and then people can judge the veracity of the story. "The money was too much" came from an unnamed source.

Having said that. JLee effed this story up, if it is a story at all, with his ridiculous radio appearance.

I dont understand why the mortgage issue has not been solved. It is public record as to who holds the lien on the home, and when and if it was released. If it was released 15 years ago, then their will be a public record of it for anyone to see.

Huge tangent here. That's the way it is supposed to work, but a lot of older mortgages haven't been marked as satisfied. A mortgage could still be on the public record and paid off years ago, but the mortgagee never got around to filing the satisfaction. Really easy to fix, but unfortunately this is very common in certain areas for mortgages predating 1995

I don't think there were any violations in this fiasco.

However , what is obvious is that Bama's two most prized recruits of 2011 CK and BC), really wanted to play at AU. Had it not been for their families forcing them to go to Bama, they'd be at AU

At least with Cam, he let it be known that his dad would make the final decision and was never committed to play for MSU

Also, he could have been helped on a mortgage on one of the rental properties. If there is any substance to these allegations, that would need to be investigated as well. Also, there could be lines of credit open secured by the house that were paid off.

Are the sources for these hearsay quotes also the same sources that told JLee about the car and the mortgage? How are we supposed to put stock in anything they are saying?

Stancil said Woodruff claims he took Calloway to Florida at the request of Calloway's adoptive father Harland "Peaches" Winston. Woodruff, who Stancil considers a "big Alabama fan", is the president of Petro Chemical Energy in Muscle Shoals.

I like how he had to include that so all the ORDers would know what phone system to flood.

BC is not one of our two most prized recruits for 2011.
