That is dumb. L. Tiffin (UA's former kicker) hurt his toes getting his arse beat while wearing sandals. I want all UA athletes in steel toed boots when they head out to the club.

Les Miles and the Unity Council held a press conference apologizing for their actions to the University, Students, Alumni, and City of Baton Rouge. Les seemed pretty ticked and said this stuff wouldn't happen again. He said we have a "remorseful" team. That leads me to believe that they're not apologizing for breaking curfew.

do you know what "remorse" means?

the details of the fight, however, are at the very least very vague at the moment considering how often the stories of the "victims" have changed.

I agree it's vague at the moment on some points. But again, we don't know the "victims" stories yet. All we know is that they've accused four players. We don't know the exact accusations yet.

We also don't know if the story has changed to the police, or if it's just been to the media, or if the media reported incomplete or erroneous details.

No one knows anything yet.

Petrino would have already dismissed all players involved, so you LSU peeps need to not ever comment on Petrino and his unethical ways.

Les has some desperation in him to still have these guys on the team. They should be dismissed till the investigation is over.

Only right thing to do.

Really? I haven't read this entire thread, but has any new information came out? Right now, kicking him off the team, without proof, would be hasty and unfair.

Hell, other than A.L., we don't even know who the accusers are. Kinda hard to call bullshite on their accusations if you don't know who they are or what they claimed.

And as far as the lawyers comments that they weren't in the bar drinking, that should be pretty easy to discredit if they're lying.

Dude, there's a helluva difference between a public defender and a lawyer that has agreed to take the case probono!

I have read on another site that this particular lawyer has done probono work for LSU athletes in the past, but hasn't offered his services for free to math and science majors.

"IF" this is correct that sounds an awful lot like they are being given special treatment due to their being associated with the football team.

Now, I'm not swearing that this is correct, but that is what is being talked about.

Our AD is the guy that was in charge at Duke during the Lacross scandle. He is not about to let Miles make the same mistakes he made.

If we booted the players now it would look horrible. You are a dumbass if you think Petrino would have booted them to the curb without any proof or hearing the player's side. He obviously isn't too worried since JJ practiced with the One's today.

Change that, you are a dumbass, it's been made pretty clear on the board.

LSU already has the money players in effect. The cops would already have charged a normal person with an eyewitness in place to give testimony. All you have to do is look at the players Petrino has dismissed based on charges and accusations before. Your the dumbass if you think Petrino would keep a misdemeanor criminal on his team . Then again LSU has a lot of money and the NCAA pussies will not do anything so you are good.

Play your thug,
