Sounds like we are friends on Twitter.

Too late for that. We are the only SEC team in the state, and are competitive at that. Fisher is a damned good recruiter, and he's put in a staff that can develop those recruits as well. Sarkisian will get some, but so did Herman.
The really good part is that we just graduated Sumlin's last class. Every recruit from here forward in the next two years will at the least be more talented before the initial teaching. There are always other factors, but Fisher has already gotten the culture in place to be successful long-term

hey hey hey I'm not saying he's going to. but if UT starts getting real all of their top in-state talent then it will all be worth it. Bump this in 3 years and we'll revisit

About the only time you notice special teams is when the specialists are bad but special teams coordinators often don't have the foggiest clue on how to coach kickers and punters.
Most fans have the mistaken idea that it's their job to do that. Practically none have ever kicked a football in a college game. That's why they're called coordinators and not coaches. They design punt and kickoff coverages and returns, onsides kick plays and coverages, fake punt and FG plays, and make sure the rght personnel are on the field. And now in the case at Texas, they'll be doing a lot of recruiting. If he really is the 3rd best recruiter in the country, it's a great hire by Sark.

If I'm an elite skill player on offense...QB, WR, TE, or RB...I'd a helluva lot rather play for Sark than Jimbo, and it isn't even close. He just had three of the top 5 Heisman vote-getters, not merely because they are outstanding players, but because Sark is a genius at designing ways to get them the ball in space to mazimize their skills.

I agree but this was a weird year. Only 3 conferences played a real-ish season and the Big-12 essentially self-death'd their postseason trophy chances by the end of September. So the ACC and SEC were really the only conferences producing players who could do enough to earn media respect.
I think you could be sure that Justin Fields makes it in a normal year. Lawrence was making it as a career achievement no matter what. Maybe a Pac-12 player makes some noise?
I think the lack of real-ish seasons led to Alabama cleaning up a lot of the individual awards this year.

You should see the social media war going on over Banks, the pole assassin, and the monkey. Sips are trying to bury it, and A&M fans are spreading it EVERYWHERE
I love rivalries. Maybe the sips should have done a little bit of research? I have no sympathy for a man that abandons his wife and kids to run off with a stripper. Ugly one at that
I wouldn't be surprised if Banks is terminated before the end of next week given some of the emails I've been getting today ...

Eh, a lot of these assistant coaches are hot damn messes who only keep their jobs because they can develop relationships with prospects. Which if you aren't doing it the right way just means you know how to shoot the shite with HS aged males and that may be a sign of mental maturity problems.

I don't disagree with you. But making it readily available on social media? That is Grade A stupidity. Especially since some of the A&M fans know his wife and kids, and knew all the details as a result

Melt.
Texas takes what Texas wants from little A1abana.

Alabama has upgrade at every single position they've supposedly "lost" to Texas. The problem at Texas is a culture one, and Sarkisian doesn't have the ability or know-how to change that.
Especially with A&M fans making Banks life in Texas a living hell. What a PoS ...

There needs to be a cap on your wages at 1% of what the market rate is for your line of work, dumbass peckerwood

1 mil isn’t unreasonable considering how much money is in CFB these days. Special teams are important.

Right, I imagine they knew this risks and decided it didn’t matter.
