The TD pass was a complete duck to an open WR.

Seriously? No, it wasn't a tight spiral, but the replay clearly showed he made a decision before the break where to throw the ball. He did, and put it right on the money. The receiver caught it in stride and did the rest.

That ball was never more than 8 feet off the ground. Not exactly what I would call "a complete duck."

Really? That is great to hear! I mean I get that this is preseason but its good to see him doing work out there.
And (not that most of you care) Alshon Jeffery is the leading receiver for Chicago tonight with 4 catches 35 yards.

Congratulations Jarrett. We've gone ahead and reserved you a space in the NFL Hall of Fame - in the McElroy wing.

Still can't believe Lee didn't get to play in the NCG.

probably had to do with lee throwing something like 7 interceptions to 2 touchdowns against bama in his career, and immediately throwing 2 interceptions in the November game.

He did look very good at times last year. In fact I think he did well against everyone not named Bama.

He was highest rate SEC QB at 152 till he got yanked. A shame he didn't have better QB coach till Krag came along, Crowton was kept a year too long I'm afraid. I wish him well.

Lee might have had a very different career at LSU if RP hadn't been a dickhead that forced his way off the team. Lee had a lot of potential you saw glimpses of but I think being thrown into the fire as a freshman (before he was ready) set him back. He got an unexpected second chance in his senior year but once JL was yanked at Bama Miles apparently wasn't going to use two QBs.

I don't personally think JL will make it in the NFL (even as a backup) but I hope I'm wrong and wish him the best because he stayed for four years when he might have left and he earned a degree. He showed real character and I admire his class in the face of circumstances that were sometimes difficult. I also admire the way he handled the media - his comments were always classy and he never bitched in the media when he was surely frustrated enough to want to

I'll cheer for JL wherever he ends up.

Physically I think he has the talent but mentally... I really believe he got pulled because he got that deer-in-the-headlights look. With a couple of years of more maturity, training he can overcome this, I don't know but

...me too, for sure. Like you say, classy young man all around. Can't help but wish him well.

Lee was redshirt frosh when "forced" into action, well Driskel & Brissett were true frosh last year and were fresh meat thrown in the cages.

He is playing against 2nd/3rd stringers, keep that in mind. None of these passes are really wowing me. The TD pass was a complete duck to an open

LMAO....as opposed to playing against some college players that weren't even good enough to play in the league....lmao...great post kid. I don't think no one says Lee is great...but he is in the mix for a roster spot on an nfl team....and he couldn't even get a meaningful snap down the stretch behind perhaps the worst starting qb in the history of LSU.......It still just blows my mind how the favorite thing works for miles...and I am a HUGE miles fan.
