This is how you step up in the moment. They had no answer for him. Kansas blinked. Carolina blinked. Kentucky blinked. Jared went for the jugular with the game on the line every game. Toughest kid in college basketball. Retire the jersey.

It's what I was screaming for him to do through that whole rough patch. We can't score if our guards aren't penetrating. Maybe he just wanted to save his legs and had a plan.
