ESPN cleared their whole schedule for THAT? I don't buy it.

So you think ESPN knows the decision, but they are holding out on reporting it because they really want to give Mr. Meggs the chance to tell everyone first?

It would be awesome. But ESPN is a corporate subsidiary with all kinds of PC BS to do.

Would they really have a PC to announce somebody is being charged? The whole thing is horrible on the part of law enforcement. To make a show of it now is sick. This case should have been resolved long ago.

I'm still trying to think of a clever "rapey" nickname for Jameis.

Is there any new evidence from months ago? To make a show of it now is disturbing. They should have either charged him awhile back or dropped the case. I have no idea what happened.

OJ chopped his wife's head off. They made a show of that, too. This isn't a new phenomenon.

Is that a 'yes' or a 'no'?

Yes.

If they aren't charging him, they have to give an explanation for why given the way things have played out and scrutiny on the case.

I can't believe you didn't get a single nibble on that. Your collie must have pissed in your bait bucket.

Of course, its a horrible crime. From what i've read, any john doe would have been charged and a jury would have decided. Yet, the circumstances seem difficult to prove so your not 100% sure what happened. In that case, he should walk guilty or not. My point, they should have made a determination months back on if he should be charged and not made soap out of it a few days before the acc champ game/heisman.

I'm kind of annoyed by that, to be honest.
