I wouldn't laugh yet, if Mathews shows up this year, they probably will move Tolbert back to FB

I wouldn't expect much out of Matthews. Dude is made of glass(had him in fantasy lat year :fml:).

Hester can play FB, RB, and ST.......he'll stick.

The answer to this is

college= hester
NFL= Hillis

I don't think he'll be the "Next LT" or even the "Next Natrone Means".

He will, Mathews will have to have a 1200+ Yard season for them to consider moving Tolbert back to FB. They basically like him as a slower Sproles, who can do goal line work...

Hills is a better running back. Hester is more versatile.

Hate to do this, BUT in 2010 Hillis outrushed Hester 1177-60. Pretty big Gap.

Hillis is more talented, Hester will have the longer NFL career. I see Hillis having a few really good years in Cleveland before his body breaks down, but by that time he will be somewhat of a local legend in Cleveland. Hester is just a good all around player. I definitely see him playing in the league for 10+ years. Hester plays the most unglamorous position in football, so you don't hear about him that often. But that doesn't mean he isn't good or successful at what he does.

I was really impressed with Hillis in the NFL, but he faded badly down the stretch last year. Will be interesting to see if he can regain what he had early in the year or whether it was just an aberration.

I agree, I thought it was crazy when people on here said Hester would be the better pro because of where they went in the draft. People said a million times "I guess yall know more than scouts blah blah"

well LSU fans do love Hester. I like him for the same reasons but Hillis is in a different class.
