A man of varied life experiences is always a welcome guest at the dinner party especially when you have a dry wit like I seem to have in person. I have to dumb it down a bit on the internet to be more appealing to the masses.

lol, i don't think you have much appeal to the masses. the masses don't follow lady's basketball for starters or care about AAU membership as you do.
they also don't like Moon Pies.

Perhaps, but college presidents do and they sign the contracts so there you go.
PS. The folks I hang with say no way about Taters to the SEC but they sure do like moon pies and RC cola.

i don't support Clemson going to SEC, one reason is I think the conferences need to have balance, plus Clemson is a founding member of the ACC. We have long term history with the ACC schools, very little with most of the SEC teams.
my opinion is many SEC fans want SEC to become a monopoly thru expansion. it is about trying to ensure 2 plus SEC teams make the playoffs every season.

See that is where you keep going wrong!
Your opinion means less than zero on this board as you are in the ACC and a Tater to boot. Just fess up to the charade and let your inner cajun tiger take hold. Then you can be openly hostile to Bama all you want and nobody will give you the crap they do.

there aren't any LSU fans on here who think I'm a secret LSU person. lol
i obviously have a lot of knowledge of Clemson that i don't think average LSU person would have.
i can be 'openly hostile' to Bama as a Clemson fan. lol
why do you just respond to my opinions for what they are without focusing on fact I'm a Clemson person. i even took down my Clemson fan status in the hope that it would stop some of these dumb conversations.
you so obsessed with conference yet you don't seem to even follow any specific SEC team.

May take awhile, I seemed to have short circuited Tillman with my point of Teddy Roosevelt being such a lefty and a Republican. He can only retort with weak volleys.
I mean Teddy was a leader in the Progressive Movement. He quite literally defined what it meant to be progressive and was the President most associated with the Progressive Era.

How old are you?
Seriously?
SIAA formed the SoCon and the SoCon formed the SEC. Do you think it is coincidence you play Auburn and Georgia as much as you do in addition to your rivalry with the Cocks.

Doubtful
In fact if you look at recent trends the SEC has gone out of it way to not double up on states where it already has #1 or #2 in the state (excluding the charter schools of course), In fact the loss of Sewannee dropped TN from 3 to 2 and dropping Tulane and Tech dropped LA and GA from 2 to 1 respectively.
Taters are not wanted and no amount of your jilted lover making excuses will change folks in the know about the true status of the Taters in the eyes of the SEC leadership.

Once again, you don't know what the hell you're talking about. You're not only a caricature but think in those terms.
Posted on 5/4/17 at 5:23 pm to Cheese Grits
ok, i'm good with Clemson not 'being wanted' if that is the case. as long as Clemson can get into the playoffs after a good season, i'm good with the conference it is in.

says a Democrat who tries to claim Lincoln is more similar to a modern Democrat. lol
somehow i don't think ol honest Abe was similar to Obama and the Clintons.

Yet here you sit with 5,000 posts in less than a year on a SEC site.
Aside from personal connections with a few ACC schools I do not recall ever posting on an ACC board.

if there was a similar ACC forum, and you and others on here posted on it, i wouldn't harrass you and and whine about it. i wouldn't care.
you aren't even a fan or grad of a specific SEC college but you post on here all the time, so it is odd that you think it is odd that I post on here. many of my posts have been in the off topic forum and not about sports.
by your own logic, you should be posting on an ivy league forum. lol
the weirdest thing about you is how often you bring up Sewanee.
From wikipedia: Sewanee never won a conference football game in the eight years it was an SEC member. The Tigers were shut out 26 times in their 37 SEC games, and were outscored by a combined total of 1163–84.[3]
you give the impression Sewanee was some major program in the SEC at one point. lol

lol, yeah Obamacare was just like freeing the slaves.
paying those higher deductibles and premiums, or being forced to pay heavy fine to opt out, was all about freedom. nevermind it was pitched as the affordable healthcare act.

So if I was a lefty liberal posting on a Tater board you frequented you would be all groovy if I discussed legal weed, free sex, and the racist leanings of Tillman?
If so what board do you frequent the most and what is your handle on there?

I do, so I guess the LOL is on you

I am an old guy and an old and dear friend (long since deceased) played ball there. I also spent a youth in an SEC that included Tulane and Georgia Tech and lived quite close to several SEC presidents and a few of her more famous coaches. No matter where I go, the SEC and the south is my youthful first love and will always be until the dirt nap has me buried in SEC earth.

They were
The Iron Men of Sewanee were named as the greatest football team in history and in 2012 were accorded that honor in the College Football Hall of Fame. It was located in South Bend down the street from "Touchdown Jesus" and was always worth a trip through their facilities even if I had to be surround by the Irish to do so.
With almost 1,000 players now enshrined it is interesting to note that very few played for Clemson.
If you really are serious there are several books on the team, if not continue to troll away and expose your ignorance.

Even if I were not a grad of any of them I am intimately tied to many of them but tied to all of them. I am quite the fan of the conference and its past is very near and dear to me. To say I am not a fan is pure trolling as it would be hard to read mosts of my posts here and remotely not suspect how big a fan I am.
