One recruit per state is not "beating out SEC schools in SEC states".
Ohio HS football <<<<< Texas HS, Florida HS, Georgia HS, Carolinas HS, and Louisiana HS football

If you really want to throw some salt on it too, let him know that the HS Mr Football Award winner for the state of Ohio, Ryan Brewer, didn't get a scholly offer from tOSU.
Brewer went to South Carolina then proceeded to run train on OSU in both Outback Bowls, with over 100 rushing yards and multiple TD's in the games.
So we beat them up with a kid from their own back yard.

Look Buckeyes - I said you were good. Your state is a state with high talent and not much comp for recruiting. Your conference sucks. It just does. Leave it alone.
You will like be in the final four almost every year like 5 years straight. All I am saying is in the SEC you might not go at all in those five years or you may go once. That is actually a compliment. But it where the SEC pride comes from.

Laughable post is laughable. I'll give you Texas, Florida, a dead heat with Georgia and an advantage over Louisiana due to raw numbers of DI recruits. The Carolinas is laughable when you look at number of recruits per state. Not even close.
I'll even back it with facts for you. Where do college football players come from?

I'm not in disagreement with you. I just don't like those (not you in this thread) that spout bullshite and don't back it up with facts.
I'm out. Need to get some rest. 13 hour tail gates are a marathon. I think that's something we can all agree on.

Nobody in the SEC doesn't think tOSU isn't good. Its just that there are time periods where yall will be unchallenged for long periods.
First, you don't have to sugarcoat it. You and other SEC fans know we suck and are overrated. We too damn slow, no talent, too few players from SEC country with not enough NFL talent even if we are in a fertile state with talent. I can take people telling us we are shite. I'm use to it. Sorry if this an overreaction butmI'm still in dismay after that game last night.
As for being unchallenged, we can't help what's become of our schedule this year or last year. Cal went downhill, vandy ( no power house but respectable) backed out and this conference sucks. No one here but one team can challenge us anymore to sharpen our iron. We do play vtech, Oklahoma and a few others in the future. I would give anything for us to get UT and UGA back on our schedule. Moreover, I rather leave this conference anyway and play SEC teams more often. Would we win less, yes but we would also get better overtime and way more physical. Much like SEC fans want mizzou out, Big 10 fans want us out...
I think we could compete but I'm not sure how we would do. Likely not well if we play like we did last night. As for being deeper, well I would say we have some depth now.
The only reason they mention NW and Michigan is because they are ranked but if you don't dominate it proves you're not ready to compete with the best.

I finally asked him, rather than dogging Big 10, I said what if you were in SEC. He said I think we could compete, I said ME TOO! We agreed! That's the difference. If tOSU was in SEC it would be a player in the mix of Bama, LSU, Ga, Fla, SC, A&M, and teams that are down that have won championships.

+1 for being reasonable and respectful.

We were'nt in our own stadium doofus. We also lost 3 other games that year. Anyhow, you should know about losing big games on "National TV".

I think we are getting closer to the actual agreement. Me and hi yelled so much about who was over rated and who beat who. and I will just tell yell this. Its the SEC. The reason he understood is when I said what if you had LSU and Bama and now A&M and Auburn who won the 2010 Natty in your division??? He was like well shite. and I was like. I know mother fricker.
I was like what about the championship game - so you beat everyone - you beat your cross rival, say Ga, but then you get them again.]
This is why SEC people are 100% sure a 1 loss sec team goes over an undefeated team to natty. Its like 5 top 10 games. Other teams play like 1 top 25 games.
Florida for christs sake has Bama so if they ran the gauntlet over SC, Bama et, they get Bama again.
So you tell me a team that splits with Bama cant get in over a team that beats say Stanford by 6.
Yea Stanford is good. But they are Ole Miss in the SEC.
Get it?

Excuse me, it was in Georgia. I would call that a home game for you compared to Boise. They kicked the living frick out of y'all btw. Had to resort to rolling around on the field faking injury in the second quarter.
I was just responding to the other Georgia gentleman about which games I was referring to.
Thanks though, I appreciate your input and now I feel bad.

He claims NW is good.
Last year Vandy lost @ Northwestern late in the game. Saying Northwestern = Vanderbilt is like saying Ohio State = team 6 or 7 in the SEC, and Ohio State is the best the B1G has.

You realize Louisiana is either 1 or 2 in NFL players per capita every year right? I'd gladly take quality Louisiana recruits who are so successful in college that they make it to the NFL over a shitload from Ohio who don't make it any further than college ball.
Plus, y'all have a bajillion D1 programs in the state of Ohio. Just because a kid goes to freakin Kent State or Akron doesn't mean anything. It would be like if McNeese or Nicholls went D1. All those players would all the sudden be counted in your numbers game of "D1 recruits?" GTFO here
You inflate your numbers of D1 recruits by having a bunch of irrelevant, useless D1 programs. The difference in Louisiana is that a ton of guys from the smaller colleges make it to the NFL, hence the reason for such incredible player per capita numbers from the state.

Can we agree that Ohio State is the Best team of the Big Ten?

Yea, I don't think there's any doubt. It's just not much to brag about.

If we can agree that in the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king.
You can be the king rat, but you are still a rat. Not much consolation in that.

Ah, so all Ohio DI recruits go to either Ohio State or MAC schools. Thanks for enlightening me.
The top five NFL states for total numbers in the NFL are also the top five states for DI recruits btw.

I think it'll be in doubt right up until the moment Michigan upsets them.
