Downtown
Historic campus
Keeneland and the KY Double
White tablecloth restaurant scene
Solid tailgate atmosphere for a historic doormat.

Lexington is fine, but the UK campus is honestly a mess. Not as bad as Tennessee but definitely different than most SEC schools.

Nashville. Tennessee is unique in that they have claim to the best and worst towns in the SEC.

There is so much opportunity for Knoxville. They really just need to hire the Chattanooga city leaders for about 5 years and let them do what Knoxville leaders have not been able to accomplish.

That area of the country is filthy rich. Feels like a gigantic Sodosopa. Not my thing, but I agree it’s nice.

It's definitely nicer than Athens but so are Charlie Sheen's toenails.

Do you? I go back as far as Bill Curry and Billy Jack Haskins. Let's not get carried away. Coon arses coming to town. Will be a good game.

Simply false. 8 colleges and a med center on a single campus.

The interdisciplinary programming here is only rivaled by UF, Vandy and A&M.

Enjoy your Corinthian columns. They are pretty, but they don't teach much or advance science.

I go back before Curry. Did meet him once, nice guy. Nicer than Pitino.

It’s great but it’s not Athens.

Well then you know, that we are more than capable of laying an egg on Saturday.

I met Stoops once, nice guy. Underwhelming intellect. But he had his team locked in the Hilton overnight before a home game with grad assistants guarding the halls. So the man knows his job.

Easily the most solid coach we've had since I enrolled at UK in 1994.

Blah.

The only thing Athens has going for it are tight red sweaters and black pants in the fall...and for that, we thank you.

It's congested, weirdly shaped, lacks a lot of historic buildings, and it's nearly impossible to identify where the focal point of campus even is. There's a reason they only ever show Memorial Hall on tv

Well yeah, I make no assumption LSU is going to lay down. Their fans say they are, but while I think we are the better team, we still haven't shown much on offense.

I sort of agree. Nothing really remarkable about UK campus. There are some historic buildings, but memorial gets all the atrention.

Lexington brewing and distilling is pretty legit too. They've got a bourbon barrel aged stout that's delicious.

Town Branch and Lexington Brewing are two of my projects. We renovated and expanded Lexington Brewing without ever shutting down production.

I forgot a few things...

Bourbon tours
Castle & Key (no bourbon quite yet, but great venue)
Woodford
Bulleit
Buffalo Trace
Four Roses

Triple Crown winners

Any Ouita Michel's restaurant (she's a Beard winner...that doesn't mean great facial hair for the Arkansas fans)

Belle's Cocktail House, Whiskey Bear, Henry Clay's and a host of other bourbon bars

...and friggin Spalding's Donuts
