when it comes to the refs. I'm trying to move past the non-call or bad call by the refs because you have 60mins to ensure you're not in that situation. BUT what I think is crazy is when they showed the SEC replay setup when they were reviewing a call, was it me or was it just one guy??? If so, SURELY the SEC can afford more than one single person to work replays. The ACC has like 4-5 and they seem to do a damn good job, and very transparent.

I've always tried to look at it like this, there are 8 officials on the field and around 150 plays per game. That's 1200 oppurtunites for just one official to either make a bad call or miss a call. In the end, I think it kinda evens itself out. Or, you know, just don't fumble the ball trying to do a jump pass, don't miss tackles, make contested catches, etc.

So how long do you want a game to last???
"We have an official timeout for this 3rd down review"
"After review, it's been determined that there are 12 penalties with 6 penalties on the defense and 6 penalties on the offense. These penalties all offset, and we'll replay 3rd down for the fifth time."

I am always baffled by who the powers that be are in these scenarios. Not SEC related, but I’m still lowkey frustrated over the WMU vs Michigan game. WMU was robbed. You could argue that WMU shouldn’t have let Michigan score after thinking the clock had run out and they had won, but the decision to not go with the clock that literally EVERYONE was watching was an insane decision by whoever in the booth made the final call.

Meh, it's Wednesday. This upcoming week's game is closer than the one in the rear view mirror.

The refs could get every single call in a game right and the fans would still bitch about missed calls and so on at almost the same rate as now.

UGA and Alabama had 121 opportunities in the game to score a TD. They failed on all but 4 of those opportunities due to someone making a mistake. Alabama had 2 opportunities AFTER the PI to tie or win the game and failed miserably on both. Alabama players and coaches, like all people, can only control their actions and their mistakes - the missed PI was horrendous. It wasn't the end of the game. The sack and the personal foul was the end of it. Those mistakes are what Alabama could control and they failed to do so and lost.

I don't need to and as I stated, the human error will always be there. Another example is the drop punt onside kick that was allowed but not legal.
But you can't have every played reviewed, especially if a penalty wasn't called. I do think coaches should have at least one or two play challenges per half, and be able to challenge either a call on the field or a non-call.

I actually think this would be an interesting idea.
