How much money have you pledged to the school under the premise that they change the team names?

Haha nothing as of yet. I don't make veiled threats about mascots like the Col. Reb Foundation. I care more about winning, period. IMO, changing the school nickname from Rebels and disassociating with Confederate symbolism will help in that process.

Well put your money where your mouth is. I'm sure your side can easily match the opposition.

The state just needs to go back to letting individual schools set admissions standards.

Agreed with RebelGator here.

The IHL needs to stop being awful and let the schools call the shots. Also, I don't even think half of the HBCUs are solvent. It's bad business to keep propping up something for the sake of having it.

Dude, you are a freaking idiot. Support the program. Do what's best for the school. Anything else is just wasted time and energy.

I do, and will even with a name change. At least I have the comfort of knowing I'm not a douche like you, and a misfit in general.

Oh man... you really are that dumb, aren't you. You do realize every coach that badmouths OM to recruits immediately talks about our symbols and racist history.

And how much has that hurt our recruiting the last 10 years?

Look at how many NFL players we have produced the last 10 years and tell me it has hurt us significantly.

Yes. They view the school as nothing more than a playground and most of them are gone by spring Freshman year.

You're Memphis educated and managed to stay around. That's pretty telling IMO.

Why yes I'm that too.

My family has money too, but it doesn't make me rich. But that's how I was raised. Ya know, to earn my own, help others and don't flaunt what I have.

Hahah EL OH EL.

OBReb6, I'm a third generation Ole Miss grad who grew up in Jackson with parents in the OM HoF. If there is anywhere I am not a misfit, it's in Oxford.

Have you ever left the state of Mississippi? Serious question.

I've probably been to more countries than most of the people in this thread.
