Nebraska had no options. Lets be honest for a second in the midst of this thread.
Missouri absolutely did because of its AAU standing, population of the state and location bordering multiple conferences.

The Texas recruiting days were dwindling even when they were in the Big XII
Almost any Nebraska fan will tell you it played a BIG part in the downturn of their talent and its been been almost impossible recover.
Mizzou not only has access to talent in Texas they also have presence in Ga and Florida.Never heard of any Georgia kids signing with you guys before you joined.

I still remember the Bama Mizzou rain game and the Mizzou fans chanting "lets go Cardinals" (playoffs) at Ferrout Field during the rain delay.

Never heard of you guys recruiting this state before you joined.
Your presence is FAR bigger than it ever was before in both states.
Several more kids are putting on their OV lists than ever have before.

The Cardinals are one of the historic pro sports franchises in American culture.
I'm sure Alabama has few of their own to be proud of to go along with the Tide.

Mizzou does what it wants when it wants.
We will let you know if and when we are breaking up with you.

C'mon Kilo, no need to be cruel. These Southerners may be simpletons, but they still have feelings.

I could tell, overtaken and held hostage by fake shite swastikas, militant feminists, and a hunger striking upper class black student. Definitely an institution in control.

I have never heard anyone have a general interest in Missouri doing anything. I'd love to make fun of other schools like Ole Miss and South Carolina the same way, but I can't. They are more nationally relevant, in general, and more interesting historically. Please leave, your market isn't pulling its weight. People in that craphole area of the country lost their NFL team too because they suck as fans.

And what “culture” does the Midwest provide you folks? Please elaborate on this. I’d love to hear it.

You mean the loudest fans in sports? The team is still there last I checked.

An AG school that lives in the shadow of the flagship institution in its state...

SEC pulled Mizzou talking about the St Louis market, I never heard anyone bring up KC. KC might as well be its own state, it's that much better than the rest of it.

That's all you've got? If so, you already know you failed.

Well not to toot our own horn, but KC is pretty badass.

Missouri can lose an MLB/NFL/NBA/NHL/MLS franchise and still have 3 more than Louisiana.
Just saying..
