If you played Alabama and Georgia 10 more times, you might win two.

I'm still surprised that y'all allowed the UGA and Bama games to be on the same home/away rotation

It's a big disadvantage for y'all every other year and hurts season tickets

I fricking hate it. Every other year, the two biggest games are away. It makes that season always less exciting, at least for those who get to go to home games.

I also think it is not good for either GA or AU.

Georgia will gladly take 2 home games in a row against Auburn.

If anything, I think this made Bama want to play them even more.

It is a lot easier to hate a team when they are doing that. Right now, I bet even some Alabama fans feel sorry for Tenn.

Games played against the Big 6 in SEC History (1933-2017):
1. Auburn- 316
2. Florida- 293
3. Alabama- 291
4. Georgia- 276
5. Tennessee- 243
6. LSU- 233

Big 6 Win% Since 1933:
1. Alabama- 62.4%
2. Florida- 50.2%
3. Auburn- 48.1%
4. Georgia- 46.7%
5. LSU- 45.49%
6. Tennessee- 45.47%

State has played 415 games against the Big 6. I don't even want to know what our winning percentage is. Probably 10%.

ETA: It's 29%. Still bad, but better than I thought.

Auburn is "unhealthy" when their top RB plays most of the game but isn't 100%. UGA plays without 2 starters the whole game but is not "unhealthy". i thought the auburn excuses would have long ended by now. good grief. Auburn is basically "unhealghy" nearly every time they play UGA,apparently.

This is a message board. It isn't an excuse to discuss the game. I don't consider our win over bama any less because I know they were limited by key injuries. All injured players are not the same. I realize you know this, but wanted to state it anyway.

I agree with your last statement. We have had some poor luck in the key injury category. Ya'll dealt with it a few season back as well.

Yes and there is also a difference between playing a full game and not playing at all. That evens out a bit.

Where's the list for major non-conf scheduling/winning % for that time period you listed?

Unfortunately I don't think this will be the last time a beat up AU heads to Atl against a healthy UGA looking for revenge

Auburn should be the team wanting revenge after the past decade of UGA dominance. The fact that you won one game in the series doesn't make us vengeful. It happens twice about every 10 or so years. We'd already clinched and the game was at JHS. You saw what happened in a neutral field. And as far as Aubies whining about not being healthy, isn't depth a big part of being a good football team? You don't see Bammers whining?

We know you feel this way, but it was a 1 score game with Auburn in uga territory in the 4th quarter. Maybe you are confusing the 1st and 2nd games where one team lost by 4 scores and trailed by 2 or more for 3 quarters.

When I said 47 minutes, I meant 43 minutes. My bad.

UGA dominated the final 43 minutes of the game by a score of 28-0, and by about 300 yards.

Thats an arse whooping of 43 minutes, and since you love to talk about feelings, that kind of domination felt great.

You have been arguing for 2 months key turnovers and shooting yourself in the foot isn't getting dominating. Now you are suggesting Auburn's key turnovers and mistakes that they managed to negotiate without letting the game get away from them until the final 13 minutes is getting dominated for the entire game. Interesting position shift.

I am not talking about "the entire game", and I have been clear about that.

The domination only happened after the forced fumble, and it took place over the final 43 minutes:

UGA went on a 28-0 run with about 300 yards more than AU.

Any reasonable football person knows thats an example of domination.
