you mean when we won the SEC and were clearly the most deserving team other than Ohio State? That year?

It's no knock on Lousiana as I've grown quite fond of the N.O./BR/Laffy area, but other than New Orleans specificially I think the state of Alabama has at least as much if not more going for it than the state of Louisiana. Granted, N.O. has a wonderful downtown with great restaurants and is a fun place for a weekend, but having a couple of pro sports while is nice that ALONE doesn't make a place vastly superior to a place that doesn't.

I'd put Alabama up against Louisiana in most areas. Much better beaches (although not many), better hunting (deer, turkey), prettier more diverse landscapes, better golf courses, LA doesn't have a city even remotely in Huntsville league high tech economy wise, better biotech indudstry/research, more diverse less energy focused economy. Slightly better K-12 in Alabama and better overall higher education in Alabama than Louisiana. NOLA>>>>>>any Bama city. The rest of Alabama>>>>>>>>>>>>the rest of Lousiana.

Read his post. He was talking about Alabama and AU as "success stories" in terms of their successes on the field.

Could not disagree with you more. BR, Lafayette and even Shreveport are better towns than anything Alabama has.

I have a lot more fun in Point Clear, AL than I ever would in Shrevepit. That place blows sandusky cock.

But other than that I agree.
