Even Paul Finebaum said coach Fisher was at the top of LSU's wish list. You all swung and struck out and now youre trying to save face by acting like you love the new hire when deep down you dont.

Beat LSU one time in Tiger Stadium this century. Then you can talk.

This is the false narrative that the 8&4 fan base is running with simply because LSU’s 3rd stringers beat their lord and savior Jimbo. It’s hilarious to watch.

Right because Finebaum knows what Scott Woodward is thinking. NOBODY had a clue he was pulling Kelly. He gave Jimbo a courtesy call to say he wasn't offering him and went get his guy.

Jimbo is already overpaid for how his teams perform. Why would we want to give him a bigger raise?

If LSU wanted Jimbo they would have him. LSU is a far superior school. That’s literally all there is to it. LSU didn’t want Jimbo. Luckily Woodward realized that was a terrible hire and the longer he stays at the Aggies the better off it is for LSU.

Lets assume that Finebaum is right (giggle). Having a coach on a list of candidates is one thing. Actually offering that coach is another. Having that offer go unaccepted is the fairy tale YOU are living in.

But 3.5 losses a year under Jimbo? Yeah, that's as real as it fricking gets.

Holy shite. Get a flipping life. Wow.

Jimbo has a 0% chance of winning a NC at A&M. He would have left in a heartbeat if offered.

Woody had Jimbo as one of the first persons he called to gage interest, but it wasn't the only person he called. Kelly, or at least his agent, was in fact contacted the week after O was fired. That has now been confirmed by former LSU QB Jamie Howard who along with his son, 5-star QB Walker, both visited Notre Dame on 23 October when ND was playing USC. Others contacted early from what LSU media sources say include James Franklin, Luke Fickell.

I think those were the top 4. Stoops was probably the floor at 5.

Aranda, Napier, Lane Train and Campbell were not contacted. I don't think Mel Tucker was contacted

Kelly talked to Jamie and mentioned to Jamie that LSU had contacted him about the job to gage interest.

Woody, unlike Alleva, did not go all in for 1 guy like what happened in 2016 when it was Herman or bust, and LSU hired Coach O.

With respect to Riley, I think given that Trace Armstrong was the agent for both Riley and Kelly, and he also represents Woody, this suggest that Armstrong was using LSU as smoke to get Riley to USC and Riley to LSU as smoke for Kelly to LSU.

Now personally, Jimbo would have been an easier sell in 2015 when it was close to happening. At this point, he would have been a harder sell. Ed O with 50 scholarship players, 2nd and 3rd string and some walkons beat Jimbo's team that you all were counting on this year to get to Atlanta and CFP.

You’re paying 90M for a coach who couldn’t even beat a lame duck Neanderthal shrimp boat captain and hasn’t won more than 9 games, and your school has gay arse male cheerleaders and yell leaders. And you jizz in jars. Plz go back to the big12.

When we went after him in 2016 he was a hot name. Not now his stock is way down and hasn’t done shite at Texas 8&4
