If you can't win a playoff game against the SEC, how do you expect to sit atop the SEC? It's OU who's going to be receiving that wake up call.

I expect OU to be in the mix of teams that have a shot any given year to make a run at the SECC once they prove they can handle the consistency of SEC competition.

Beating the mid tier SEC teams may seem like a given but those teams show up to play and they have the athletes to put a physical beating on you even it doesn't show up on the scoreboard. Let OU play Ole Miss, Arkansas, MSU and UK on consecutive weekends and then follow it up with a trip to UGA or LSU. That will be the test. OU may have the ability to beat any of those teams, some of them badly, but have they got the durability to beat them all?

Texas is in for a world of hurt unless they start doing some serious improving and soon.

Absolutely not. You have no idea. NC State or VA Tech but UNC is just as bad if not worse than Texas. They don't even like football over there.
