It has now been 10 full seasons since a RB last won the Heisman Trophy...

This continues the longest drought for the position in the history of the award. In fact, only three RBs have won the Heisman Trophy in the first 25 seasons of the 21st century.

The last one to win it:

Would have been a really good LB too.

Good running backs are on good teams. Good teams have depth and rotate reps. You don’t see a good RB on a good team with 25+ carries a game anymore.

Absolutely. I loved seeing DH making plays on kickoff coverage. It was that brief glimpse of what he'd do on the other side of the ball.

Yeah well next year a running back will be winning. I am drunk and have decided that I shall re enroll and use my Covid year to walk on at LSU and make all of your lives miserable.
