please. in the 50 years between dana bible and emory ballard, we won a grand total of 4 conference championships. we won 11 conference titles in like our first 90 years of football, we won 7 in the next 13. our early record is inflated by dana bible. our record in the 56 years (1928-1984) between dana bible and jackies first SWC championship was 282-284.

Just to get back on topic before retard, and oh-so-typical-Aggie derailed the topic and tried to frame an opinion that never existed...

It's never prudent to judge a recruiting class a month before signing day. It makes you look like an absolute fricking aggie (see above) when that class transforms over the next few weeks. See Ole Miss a couple of years ago who was having the same kind of year before turning it on extremely late in the game.

Arkansas still has an above average shot to land 2 more 4* kids.

Wait until NSD before you judge a class.

Better yet, wait until they've played a few years.

I'm just wondering how in the Hell a yankee from Wisconsin can come into the SEC and recruit. I mean shite, all the experts on SECrant said that he wouldn't be able to recruit in the South, so what gives?

One four-star player can be the difference between the #70 class and the #30 class.

Once you get outside the top 20-25, all the classes start to blend together. Bunch of three star local guys with a couple lower-rated four stars.

Dear Bert,

Props for distancing Arkansas from Tulane*. Might I suggest you aim higher as the other new coach in the SEC West is already in the Top 15 nationally after the same amount of time on the job.

*Note: Tulane hasn't been on the SEC since 1965.

We're also leaving UK, Mizzou, Auburn, Tennersee, and MSU in our dust as well.

Good morning Crow.

Care to draft us a chart showing the rankings of the two classes (UA and AU) when the new staffs took over versus where they will be ranked after all LOI's are in? Might be quite interesting.

and did this other new coach takeover a program that had a permanent head coach in place last season? you seem to ignore that factor.

please advise.

Gus took over a dumpster fire at Auburn. However, Gus didn't take over a program that was ranked in the top 10 to start the year and he is already pushing Top 10 class in some services. Order is restored on the Plains.

Gus walked into a solid recruiting class and his only job was to maintain it. CBB walked into a completely empty cupboard and he had to start from scratch.

Comparing the two is comical.

Oh didn't realize John El coached and recruited at Auburn all season. Makes sense why they sucked so bad last year now

Let's not bag on Tulane. They not only have won the SEC championship, but also claimed the Championship of the conference they are currently a member of.

Not all teams can say that.

Let's think about that reasoning.

Are you claiming it's EASY to beat LSU, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, etc over the past 20 years?

You're flaming Arkansas, incessantly, due to your lack of a life. I get that. But think about your logic.

Arkansas sucks because they can't win the SEC. The SEC is the best conference in the universe with the best teams.
Arkansas sucks because they can't be the best team in the best conference?

In summary, eat a dick.
