Every team has 1 or 2 games left before post season play.

A few teams still have a chance of making the CFP.

For the teams that don't but who happen to have a potential 1st or 2nd rounder on the roster these next two weeks are going give coaches and fans ulcers as star players opt out of season-ending and meaningless bowl games.

We really need to put some safety bumpers on NIL.

If players have to be paid, you'd think they would have to play.

If I were a NFL GM and a player quit on his team and opted out, that would give me serious pause on drafting them.

The portal doesn't open until January, after the bowls are done (except the remaining semi final playoff teams)+ if your coach leaves (fired or voluntarily) players have to wait for 5days after the new coach is hired.

The new transfer portal rules, allow for teams to remain intact through the bowl season. Contract language, could ensure healthy players participate or face financial penalties..other than that..I think it's more of the same...but usually guys transferring, try to ball out to increase their earning potential.

Not in many places. The NIL can’t be tied to performance or attendance in some states
