When has Saban hired a top flight coordinator? Kiffin, Sark, Daboll, Kirby, and Pruitt were all hyped after leaving Alabama not before.

How about Doug Nussmeier. Turned our pretty good.
Nuss wasn't very good, we just had an amazing defense and superior talent.

All of Bamas Nc except the one with Tua has all been won with a supposed game manager at QB
Mac and AJ were not “game managers.”

I know Bama fans were elated to be rid of Golding as DC.
You may be on to something.
Also wonder if other fanbases think he is shite like Bama fans have said.

I mean...had anyone ever heard of Kirby Smart or Jim McElwain when they took over as the DC and OC in 2008? I don't think Brian Daboll was a hot commodity when he left his position as the Patriots' tight ends coach to be the OC at Alabama in 2017.

Mac Jones was most certainly not a game manager, however A.J. McCarron was stuck with that label his entire career at Alabama.

Not over and won't be until he retires. Regardless of the potential bad record, money feels good

Saban is just mailing it in now. It’s been over for a couple of seasons now.
