LSU has beaten Auburn 7 times in the last 10 years.
also under half a second away from that number being 8

No our point is that there's nothing laughable about them starting at 6 when that's exactly where we finished the season.

Not to mention most people expect us to be improved this year

having a top 3 defensive line and still being projected to lose at least 4 games

AU loves the spot they’re in

Indeed. There’s nothing AU enjoys more than having a dead man walking as head coach and waiting for the opportunity to can him while drooling over long shot candidates.

anything funnier

Yeah realizing that Auburn is 3-9 against LSU in the last dozen years. That’s funnier. And realizing that Auburn has not beaten LSU in Baton Rouge since the 90s and the game is in Tiger Stadium . That’s funnier.

Too bad my dreams of LSU winning 8 games a year for this entire century isn't in jeopardy of dying.

LSU will 100 percent guaranteed set in stone win 8 games this year.

No one will call their shot that LSU won't win 8 games this year.

So now the AP poll matters.

They may be better than that. AU will get their chance. BTW, Texas is dead in that matchup with the Tigers. LSU is too big, too strong.

Sure does.

I got no problem with a split title for 2003, it isn't all that uncommon.

The funny thing is that wasn't even the 2-loss champions, they were consensus #1.

I don’t know if you’re stupid, or if you’re trolling.
Do you really not understand why the ap poll was wrong for LSU during the 03 championship year? I’m not trying to be mean, I just can’t tell if what your angle is.

Not really.

They asked the writers who they thought the champions were, and they awarded their trophy accordingly. That's pretty much the nature of a poll championship.

But they didn’t play in the championship game.

There was a game between the number one team and the number two team. It was called the bcs championship game. I don’t understand how this can be hard to understand.

Obviously, the people who were polled thought USC had a better team, so they gave them a trophy.

Do you understand what a "poll" is?

...or a "trophy"?

I understand what a poll is. I just don’t understand the justification that because someone thought another team was better, they should get the trophy. Even though that team, that is supposedly better, didn’t even participate in the designated championship game.
